Find an Op Shop is an independent directory built to help you make one practical decision: which op shop to visit, and what to confirm before bringing donations.

How records are compiled

We read operator websites and link the sources on each listing. Records separate published facts, chain-wide guidance and unconfirmed details. The review date tells you when the sources were checked; it does not mean an operator was contacted or a place physically inspected.

Current coverage

54 selected Victorian shops, with pages for Melbourne, the Frankston area, Mornington Peninsula, Warrnambool and Geelong & Bellarine. This is the starting coverage of an Australian directory, not a complete nationwide census.

What we never infer

Shopping hours do not automatically become donation hours. A chain donation policy does not prove that a branch has capacity. A published furniture range does not prove a particular item is in stock.

Corrections and maintenance

Confirm high-impact details through the linked operator before travelling. Source updates are reviewed at field level; missing facts remain unconfirmed. Base shop information is scheduled for monthly editorial review; holiday and donation information needs an additional check before a special trip. These are editorial review targets, not a live monitoring service.

Commercial independence

There are no paid rankings, affiliate links or invented reviews at launch. If commercial links are added later, they will be identified. Listings do not imply endorsement by the operator.
